Jensen Baird Elects Two New Shareholders in 2020

Jeffrey B. Herbert and Tudor N. Goldsmith were elected as Shareholders, effective January 1, 2020.

Jeff’s practice focuses on all aspects of real estate law and commercial transactions, including commercial and residential development, acquisitions, sales and leasing.  He has also represented a wide range of developers and financial institutions in financing transactions, including commercial real estate, construction financing, and asset based lending. Jeff represents small to mid-sized closely held family and solo entrepreneurial businesses in their day-to-day business operations and related transactions. He brings substantial real estate, corporate, municipal planning and zoning expertise to matters for clients engaged in both commercial and residential developments, making frequent appearances before municipal planning and zoning boards.

Tudor is a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates and Probate Litigation practice groups. She represents clients in the preparation of wills and trusts, and the administration of trusts and estates. She has been appointed by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court to be a member of the Maine Advisory Committee on Probate Rules, on which she currently serves, and is the Secretary of the Maine Estate Planning Council. She is also a frequent presenter of both local and national continuing legal education presentations on estate planning and estate and trust administration.  Before joining Jensen Baird, Tudor clerked for the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
