AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Pat concentrates her practice in the areas of employment law, administrative law, and municipal law.  She represents both public and private employers, advising them regarding all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including terminations, age, race and sex discrimination, workers compensation, privacy and publication issues and employee handbooks.  She has practiced in these areas before State and federal courts and administrative agencies in Maine for 25 years.

Prior to joining the firm, Pat served as Commissioner of Labor for the State of Maine from 1984 to 1987, and as an Assistant Attorney General from 1976 to 1980.  She also served as a Trustee of the Maine State Retirement System from 1980 to 1983.  Pat has been a speaker on employment, municipal and administrative issues at a number of programs presented by the Maine State Bar Association, and a variety of other organizations.

When not working, Pat can be found walking on the beach which abuts her home in Scarborough.
