Jordan T. Gagnon

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

As a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, Jordan focuses his practice primarily in the area of Land Use litigation and permitting. Jordan’s wide range of experience in Land Use and Permitting offers service to a variety of corporate, municipal, and individual clients advising on the complexities of local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks. Jordan enjoys working closely with developers, business and property owners, and communities to facilitate safe and responsible development across Maine from acquisition and planning through development and construction. In addition to his land use expertise, Jordan has proficiency drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, easements, and road associations.

Before joining Jensen Baird, Jordan practiced at a large Maine land development firm where he provided regulatory guidance and coordination for projects across the state. Jordan graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law where he received his JD with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Law while being a member of the school’s Client Advocacy Team and a student clinician at the school’s Energy Policy Initiatives Center.

In his free time, Jordan enjoys getting outside and can be found golfing, skiing, hiking, and fishing across Maine. Jordan currently lives with his wife in Portland.
