Emma S. Pooler

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

As a member of Jensen Baird’s litigation practice group, Emma is focused on helping clients navigate complex and nuanced disputes. Prior to joining Jensen Baird, Emma worked at a large Maine law firm focusing primarily on commercial and construction litigation and debt collection matters.

Prior to attending the University of Maine School of Law, Emma received her degree in political science and sociology from the University of Maine. Emma was also a member of the UMaine Washington Semester and Congressional Internship Program, working for Senator Angus King.  After graduating from the University of Maine, Emma attended the University of Maine School of Law. During law school, Emma was a board member of the Women’s Law Association and spent time providing legal aid to Mainers as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and the Rural Practice Clinic in Fort Kent, Maine. Emma has also interned for the Federal Defender’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office in its Child Protection Division.

In her free time, Emma enjoys all that Maine has to offer, including: skiing at Sunday River, snowmobiling in Aroostook County, and kayaking in its many lakes and ponds.
