Deborah M. Mann

Debbie practices commercial civil litigation, focusing in the areas of probate, construction, and real estate litigation. She has been listed with Best Lawyers in America for several years and as of 2017 has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for 20 years. She was named by Best Lawyers as its 2012 Lawyer of the Year for Portland, Maine for Litigation – Trusts and Estates, in 2013 as Lawyer of the Year for Portland, Maine for Construction Litigation and again in 2014 & 2016 as Lawyer of the Year for Portland, Maine for Real Estate Litigation. Debbie has most recently been named as Lawyer of the Year for Portland, Maine for Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law. She serves as an arbitrator, as a member of the American Arbitration Association Roster of Neutrals. She is admitted to practice before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, the United States District Court for the District of Maine, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Customs Court and is a member of the Maine and District of Columbia Bar Associations and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association. She has lectured on litigation techniques in state and federal courts.

Debbie served for three years as President of the law firm and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. She is a member of the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust, Greater Lovell Land Trust and Kezar Lake Watershed Association. She is a past member the Board of Directors of Maine Life Care Retirement Community, Inc., Maine’s first continuing care community, the Board of the YWCA and the United Way Allocation Committee.
