Probate Litigation

Representing trusts and estates has been a hallmark of Jensen Baird since it was founded. Our Probate Litigation Practice Group collectively has more than a century of experience and a deep, state-wide litigation practice before all courts. We regularly represent heirs, beneficiaries, personal representatives, trustees, individuals and charities in all probate actions, ranging from routine administration of trusts and estates to complex probate litigation, including will interpretation and challenges, elective share proceedings, inheritance cases, capacity issues, guardianship disputes, breach of trust cases, undue influence, accountings, shared family property ownership and management issues and many more.

We also recognize that a litigation solution is not always the best one for our clients and we have extensive experience in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. We not only offer our clients our specialized knowledge of probate court and appellate practice, but help them navigate the challenging emotional issues that are often integral to these cases.  Our goal is to listen and help clients define and realize their goals in this often sensitive area.
