Katherine "Kacy" Bailey helps clients with the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial and industrial properties and residential development projects. She conducts all pre-acquisition and financing due diligence, negotiates purchase and sale agreements and financing documents, and counsels clients on land use and title issues. Her experience and education as an urban planner gives her additional insight into obtaining municipal endorsement and approval of development projects. Kacy also represents commercial landlords and tenants in negotiating office and retail space leases.
Prior to joining Jensen Baird, Kacy was associated with Massachusetts law firms focusing on land use and real estate matters and she served as a judicial clerk for the justices of the Maine Superior Court. Before embarking on her legal career, Kacy worked as an adventure and experiential education instructor throughout the United States and spent her winters skiing in the mountains of Utah and Colorado. She now splits her time between Portland and Bethel, Maine.
